May 2003
This is it people. At least that’s how I feel about it. I started this sometime in February and finished early May, essentially 3 months time. I’m pretty sure that’s the Deer record for creating an album. And I’m sure that would make one question how good it could actually be. Granted, there are only 11 songs, and it’s only a half hour long… but still, that’s a mighty quick turnaround for writing and recording the shit. Amazingly though, I wasn’t rushed, nor do I feel it sounds rushed. It really just came together quite easily. And without a doubt my favorite of my batch (though I always seem to feel that way about the “new” one). I certainly think it’s worthy of being the album with the deer logo on it. Especially since this album is about me and this album is about this album. Maybe that’s why it came together so easily.
The review below is from a really great band from Norway. Be sure to check them out sometime.

Subject: Review
Dear mr deer. Thank u for the great review. Now I'm gona listen to u'r music.
How much love have we got:
An extremely cool summer tune. Sounds like a crossing between Alice in Chains and the Beatles white album.
Do u listen to Beck or Badly drawn boy? Amacing stuf. Makes me happy and I want to dance around in my kitchen with this song played loud! Dudu dudu du! got it stuck to my brain allready!
Run with us:
In the beginning it sounds a bit like a song by new order, but then it turns into another "happy go lucky" song in the true spirit of the beatles as the guitar came in. It sounds verry cool. Glad I found this music now that the summer is at the door.
Just me and you:
Cool chord changes. But u should have gotten ridd of the bad piano sound that u use. This is truly experimental, and it makes me happy! I'm a happy puppy!!
In the know:
This sounds like badly drawn boy. But the great thing bout it is that u've found u'r own style. And the lyrics are fantasticly talented written. U have a good thing going here. Can't imagine the maker of this music beein a dj in a rap group, but that is what makes music interesting. The interesting mix of different genres.
Do u love me: Yes she must if u made this song for her!
The best song in this collection of great songs.
Let's start livin': I want to know u so that I can tel my friends that I know this guy. He makes xelent songs and writes the most amacing lyrics.
U sing verry cool to!! Your mixes are splendid. Not to over done!
I got time:
I hate the bending synth, but u actiualy made it sound good. That scares me!! And use the time u got on making more music for me to download!
Future man: I love the kind of grungy chord changes on this song. U are by now my favourite Iuma artist together with sinakone.
I hope u make it so that I can buy a studio mixed disc of this music. Soon u'll be a future man, but for now this is verry nice to. Stick to u'r musical beliefs whatever u'r future music label wants u to do.
Thats that: I love this song. It is an amacing mix between chil out music and beats. Love the turntables!!
Up for grabs: Sound slike Beck. In a good way! Sounds like u've been smoking the evil pot before u wrote this. ;0)
And I did like what I heard! no question bout it.
All in all: Don't even have to say anything. I gues my message got thru. Verry good music!!
Good luck from HänkePfimpf of
